I like to watch black and white movies. Sing loudly and terribly whenever a conversation becomes even slightly awkward. I love music. Playing, listening, whatever is convenient for that moment. I am a first year college student pursuing my associates in music. I love calligraphy pens and watching rugby.
No job at the moment, hopefully soon. I live in Washington.
I take pictures. If I have a camera, every moment is preserved. Whenever I actually attempt to cook, the kitchen in question always turns out looking like what would be left behind after a fourth grader was to have completed a science experiment. It is always… Interesting.
I am funny (or so I am told). I don’t believe in driving when one can take the bus, or paying thirty bucks for a hair cut if you can do a decent job yourself.
One of these days I am going to move to New York and be a jazz pianist. I just need to figure out how the hell to play the piano.
I know that I will never be finished learning about anything. I refuse to be. Once you’re “done”, you become complacent. I don’t want to ever be that way.
I have two dream vehicles: 1979 F-250 Ranger. And a 1969 Camaro.
My name is van Ackeren. New Years is my favorite holiday. The little dipper is my favorite constellation. And I will never be finished growing up.
